Invoice Maker Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Nikita Fedosov ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Invoice Maker mobile application and related services (the "Service").
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Service and which features are enabled, we may collect or process the following information.
Account Information
If account features are available and you create an account, we may collect:
- your name;
- email address;
- user account identifier;
- authentication and account security information.
Business and Invoice Information
To provide the Service, we may process information that you enter, upload, create, or store, including:
- business names and contact details;
- company logos;
- customer and client names;
- customer email addresses and billing addresses;
- invoices, estimates, quotes, and related documents;
- products and services;
- prices, taxes, discounts, payment terms, and due dates;
- notes and other information included in business documents.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide personal information relating to your customers and other third parties.
Subscription and Transaction Information
If you purchase a subscription through Apple, we may receive limited information such as:
- subscription status;
- product and plan identifiers;
- purchase and renewal dates;
- transaction identifiers;
- trial and cancellation status.
Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your complete payment card number or Apple Account payment credentials.
Device and Technical Information
We and our service providers may collect:
- device type and model;
- operating system and application version;
- language, country, and time zone;
- IP address;
- device, installation, and advertising identifiers;
- application session information;
- crash reports, diagnostics, and performance data.
Usage and Analytics Information
If analytics, diagnostics, or performance tools are enabled, we may collect events such as:
- application installation;
- account registration;
- onboarding completion;
- trial activation;
- subscription purchase, renewal, or cancellation;
- creation, export, or sending of an invoice;
- creation or approval of an estimate;
- selection of a template;
- interaction with application features.
We do not intentionally send the contents of invoices, customer names, customer contact information, banking details, or uploaded documents to analytics or advertising providers unless required to provide a specific feature you use.
2. Advertising Identifiers and Tracking
If the Service uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework or accesses the Identifier for Advertisers ("IDFA"), we will request your permission before doing so.
If you decline permission, the core functionality of the Service will remain available. You can change your permission at any time through your device settings.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and manage user accounts;
- create, store, synchronize, export, and send invoices and estimates;
- provide subscriptions and paid functionality;
- restore documents and settings across supported devices;
- provide customer support;
- analyze feature usage and improve the Service;
- diagnose crashes and technical problems;
- measure advertising performance;
- protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats;
- comply with applicable legal obligations;
- enforce our Terms of Use.
4. How Information Is Stored
Information may be stored locally on your device and, where account synchronization or backup functionality is enabled, on secure cloud infrastructure operated by us or our service providers.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network transmission and appropriate access controls.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. How We Share Information
We may share limited information with service providers that process it on our behalf, including:
- Apple, for App Store distribution, subscriptions, and purchases;
- Apple or Google, if you choose to use their sign-in services;
- infrastructure, storage, synchronization, backup, diagnostics, security, analytics, and email service providers that support the Service, if and when such services are enabled.
We require service providers to process information only for authorized purposes and subject to applicable contractual and security obligations.
We do not sell the contents of invoices or customer records.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable under European data protection law, we process personal data based on:
- performance of our contract with you;
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service;
- your consent, including consent for advertising tracking where required;
- compliance with legal obligations.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
7. Data Retention
We retain account and document data while your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service.
Following account deletion, we aim to delete or anonymize associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Where applicable, typical retention periods may include:
- active account and invoice data: until account deletion or closure;
- deleted account backups: up to 90 days, where backups exist;
- support communications: up to 24 months;
- security and fraud logs: up to 12 months;
- analytics and attribution data: according to enabled provider settings.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data;
- request a portable copy of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent;
- opt out of advertising tracking through your device settings;
- submit a complaint to a competent data protection authority.

9. Account Deletion
If account functionality is available, you may initiate account deletion from:
Settings -> Account -> Delete Account
If this option is not available in your version of the app or you need assistance, you may also request deletion by contacting support@merivogrowth.com.
Deleting your account will delete or anonymize the account and associated personal information, except for information we are legally required or permitted to retain.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you reside.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as contractual protections approved under applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will publish the updated version and revise the "Last updated" date.
Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
